My name is Arnd Kolleck, born 1969 in Hamburg. I have a doctoral thesis in physics and do to professional reasons I moved 2005 to the beautiful south of Bavaria – to the Allgäu.
Since 2011 I live with my family in Pfronten at the frontier to Austria.
My great passion – the photography – became meanwhile a secondary occupation.
It was my grandpa – also was a passionate photographer presented slide shows and illustrated books – that bought me the first camera and introduced me into the main secrets of photography.
Since then I have consequently extended my knowledge. With my entrance into the digital photography new possibilities arose.
My motivation is the nature itself, which inspires me from my earliest childhood. This is why my focus lays on landscape photography.
I love to discover new things with undestroyed. This is why I took journeys to Canada, New Zealand, Patagonia, Iceland, USA and Norway.
But my true love is my home – the region around Pfronten. For me this love does not know any borders and due to this Tirol in Austria numbers along.
